Northwest of Auckland, in the countryside near Helensville, Nestlebrae Exotics is the New Zealand specialist in warm climate fruits, particularly the more unusual and exotic species and varieties. Our knowledge, range, and contacts in this area are unrivalled.

Hibiscus

We also have a developing interest in hibiscus, a type of plant for the warmer regions of New Zealand where the plant trade has generally been slow to present many really modern trends alongside the older varieties. We hope to change this over the next few years as we bring our very own selections to market.

Palms

Our definite interest in palms continues as well. We enjoy giving guidance to the homeowner who likes the idea of a modern, subtropical garden, but who is a bit uncertain as to what palms to plant for long term impact.

Ornamentals

We used to sell quite a few ornamentals, but we have largely given that up, preferring to focus on the above three categories. However, you will still find a few examples of ornamentals for the subtropical look in the relevant section of our products for sale.
